After the regular meeting on Tuesday, March 10 the Town Board will reconvene at A.D Oliver Middle School Large Group Instruction Room, at 40 Allen Street.
There will be a Public Information Meeting regarding COVID-19 and the greater-Brockport community from 7:30 pm – 9 pm. The presentation will be led by Dr. Michael Mendoza, Monroe County Public Health Commissioner and representatives of The College at Brockport, the Brockport Central School District, the Brockport Fire District, the Towns of Sweden and Clarkson and the Village of Brockport.
The presentation will include up-to-date information regarding COVID-19 in general and the quarantine of SUNY students returning from abroad SUNY Brockport.

Tax Roll and Warrant
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that I, Sharon S. Mattison, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Clarkson, County of Monroe, State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Clarkson for the year 2020 and that I will attend the Clarkson Town Hall, 3710 Lake Road in the Town of Clarkson; Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excepting holidays. In addition, the following Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; January 4, 11, 18, 25, and February 1 and 8, 2020, for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on the said Roll. Taxes can also be mailed to Sharon S. Mattison, Tax Collector, P.O. Box 858, Clarkson, New York 14430.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before February 10, 2020 without penalty. On all taxes received after such date, there will be an added penalty, as follows:
February 11- February 28, 2020 1.5% interest
March 1- March 31, 2020 3.0% interest
April 1- April 30, 2020 4.5 % interest
May 1- May 31, 2020 6.0% interest
until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the Monroe County Treasurer pursuant to law, on the first day of June, 2020.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, Real Property Tax Law, §987: NOTICE OF UNPAID TAXES. On May 11, 2020, a notice will be mailed to each owner of real property on which taxes remain unpaid, and a $2.00 notice fee shall be charged on and after May 11, 2020 against the parcel and added to taxes due.

That the Town Board of the Town of Clarkson shall hold its regular monthly meeting each second and fourth Tuesday at the Clarkson Town Hall, 3710 Lake Road, Clarkson NY, commencing on January 14, 2020 and ending December 8, 2020. Meetings are held at 6 P.M. The Board will not meet on August 25, 2020 or December 22, 2020.

Notice of Adoption of Local Law #3-2019
“A local law to amend the Town of Clarkson’s “Dog Licensing and Control Law of the Town of Clarkson””.
Please take notice that on November 26, 2019 the Clarkson Town Board adopted Local Law #3-2019 “A local law to amend the Town of Clarkson’s “Dog Licensing and Control Law of the Town of Clarkson””
Subject to certain exemptions, existing law had limited each household to no more than three dogs. Under this new local law, an additional exemption of up to three dogs being held for foster care purposes as agent for a registered animal adoption organization is authorized.
Existing exemptions for dogs acquired prior to September 1, 2019, and for dogs under 6 months old, have been restated.
The complete text of this local law is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk, and may be inspected during normal business hours.
