The October 19th Town Board special budget meeting has been cancelled.

The Monroe County Water Authority (MCWA) has provided the following information regarding Sign-up Sessions for the Water Improvement Benefit Area #1 (WIBA#1) project:

The Water Authority is offering informal, open-house format Sign-up Sessions at the Town Courthouse for eligible residents. These sessions allow residents to meet in person, ask questions, and make payments.

For eligible residents on: Drake Rd, 4200-4300 Redman Rd and West Ave
Date: Tuesday, October 29, 2024
Time: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
– Sign-up Session #2
For eligible residents on: County Line Rd, Ireland Rd and 2419-2863 Redman Rd
Date: Wednesday, November 13, 2024
Time: 3:00pm – 7:00pm
– Sign-up Session #3
For eligible residents on: Lawton Rd and Sweden Walker Rd
Date: Thursday, November 21, 2024
Time: 3:00pm – 7:00pm

Please keep in mind that the private water line from the building to the right-of-way, if installed incorrectly, could result in insufficient pressure and/or freezing. We suggest waiting to install your private water line until you receive the specification sheets customized for your property.
The Clarkson town board will be holding a special meeting at the Town Hall on October 3rd, 2024 at 10:00AM. The purpose of the meeting is for the Town Clerk to present the tentative 2025 Budget to the Town Board.

- 09/26-09/27: Mobilize equipment, material deliveries, layout, and put fittings together.
- 09/30-10/18: Complete grubbing and begin excavation for watermain install on Drake Road, including rough grading.
- 10/18-10/20: Mobilize equipment to Lawton Road and begin grubbing.
- 10/21-11/08: Continue grubbing and start excavation for watermain install on Lawton Road.
- 11/11-11/29: Mobilize equipment, perform grubbing, and install watermain on Ireland Road, continuing to the connection on Clarkson/Parma Townline Road.
- 12/02-12/20: Mobilize, perform grubbing, and install watermain on Sweden Walker Road.
- 01/06-01/17: Mobilize, perform grubbing, and install watermain on Redman Road (north end).
- 01/20-02/07: Mobilize, perform grubbing, and install watermain on Countyline Road.
- 02/10-02/14: Mobilize, perform grubbing, and install watermain on Redman Road (south end).
- 02/17-03/14: Grubbing and watermain installation on Route 31 and Old Route 31.
- 09/26-03/23: Service installation, filling, flushing, pressure testing, and sanitizing of the watermain will run concurrently as the mainline is being installed, subject to weather conditions and project encounters.

The Town Board will conduct a special meeting on August 27, 2024, at 6:00 pm, or as soon thereafter at the Town Hall, 3710 Lake Road, Clarkson, New York.
The purpose of the special meeting is to consider matters pertaining to the WIBA#1 waterline project, the Seymour Library renovation project and such other and further business that comes before the Town Board.
Sheriff Todd Baxter paid a visit to our Town Hall on August 12th. He spoke about two initiatives:
Regional Investigative Operations Center (RIOC)
The Consortium for Safe Communities
