ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE BROCKPORT FIRE DISTRICT

                                                    On Tuesday, December 10, 2019                                       

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Brockport Fire District will take place on Tuesday, December 10,  2019 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Brockport Fire District Station #3, 191 West Avenue, Brockport, New York 14420 for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2020 and ending December 31, 2024.

 Only residents registered to vote with the Monroe County Board of Elections on or before November 18, 2019, shall be eligible to vote.

Qualified Candidates for District Office must file their names and their intent to seek the position of Fire District Commissioner, indicating the office and term for which they wish to run, with the Secretary of the Brockport Fire District, Debra Bax, at P.O. Box 131, Brockport New York l4420, no later than November 20, 2019. Candidates must be resident electors of the Brockport Fire District at the time of the election.

Hamlin Morton Walker Fire District

Notice of Annual Election of the Hamlin Morton Walker Fire District

December 10, 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Hamlin Morton Walker Fire District  located in the Town of Hamlin, Monroe County, New York will take place on December 10, 2019.  Polls will open between the hours of 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at the L.R. Merritt Hall, 1503 Lake Road Hamlin, New York 14464 for the purpose of electing one (1) Fire Commissioner for a 5-year term, commencing on January 1, 2020 and ending December 31, 2024.  All duly registered resident’s of the Hamlin Morton Walker Fire District shall be eligible to vote.

Candidates for District Office shall file their name with the Secretary of the Hamlin Morton Walker Fire District, William Rickman at the Hamlin Fire House 1521 Lake Road Hamlin, N.Y.  14464 no later than November 20, 2019.

TOWN OF CLARKSON

NOTICE OF 2020 PRELIMINARY BUDGET HEARING

In accordance with Section 108 of Town Law, a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at 6:00 PM at the Clarkson Town Hall, 3710 Lake Road, Clarkson, NY to review the preliminary budget for 2020.

The proposed yearly salaries for elected officials are: Supervisor $23,505.72; Councilpersons $8,119.18; Justices $16,168.84; Town Clerk $67,198.33; Highway Supt. $94,208.16.

The Special Assessment rolls for the following districts:

LIGHTING:

Greenfield Manor District 1&2; Rose Meadow; Wedgewood; Brianna; Burch Farm; Deer Creek Estates; Northfield; Old Pine Trail, Liberty Cove.

SEWER:

North Colony; Greenfield Manor; Clarkson Meadows; Burch Farm; Brianna Meadows; Rose Meadows; Liberty Cove; Kozi-Ridge; Garland Ridge; Tantalo Sewer CHTL Road; Wedgewood; Lake Cook.

WATER:

Lawrence Road; Sweden Walker Road; Clarkson Hamlin T.L. Road; East Avenue; Wiler-Roosevelt; Roosevelt Highway #2; Clarkson Hamlin T.L. Road 2; Craig Hill Drive; Clarkson Parma TL.

All persons will be heard at such time and place and have the right to provide written and oral questions concerning the use of funds.  A copy of the entire budget is available for inspection by any interested party during normal business hours at the Town Clerk’s office.

Holiday Food Drive

The Clarkson Town Clerk’s Office is sponsoring a holiday food drive to benefit the Brockport Food Shelf & Life Solutions in Hamlin. Drop off your contributions at the Clarkson Town Hall, 3710 Lake Road. A bin will be available by the Town Hall front door for after-hours contributions!

 Monetary donations needed for holiday meats.  Other items needed include stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, gravy mix, boxed pie crust, canned pumpkin, canned pie filling, pudding mixes, canned pineapple, pancake mix as well as personal care products.
